MICROS® and CBORD® continue to build on their strong 22-year relationship

Ithaca, New York—The CBORD Group, Inc. today announced its more than 22-year relationship with MICROS continues to strengthen with the integration of MICROS’s Point-of-Sale (POS) solutions to CBORD’s Webfood™ Online Ordering Service.

No one likes to wait in line, especially when he or she is hungry. The Webfood Online Ordering Service from CBORD allows restaurant customers to place takeout, delivery, and catering orders for their favorite meals through the Internet. The MICROS POS system manages the processing of payment. In addition to its use on the Internet, Webfood can be used for orders placed through self-service kiosks and drive-through (call center) applications, all seamlessly integrated with the MICROS POS software.

The CBORD / MICROS partnership has existed for more than two decades. Hundreds of institutions use CBORD’s transaction processing systems with fully integrated MICROS POS terminals. The MICROS integration with Webfood leverages new technology from CBORD to increase customer convenience and operational efficiency.
